Greg Doll



Greg DollGreg grew up in Peace River Ab, where he played all of his minor hockey. From there he moved on to play for the Bonnyville Pontiacs of the AJHL. After Junior, Greg pursued an education at Grant MacEwan University where he played hockey for 3 seasons as a Griffin, serving as alternate captain for his final two seasons. From there, Greg moved on to the University of Alberta where he continued to follow his passion for competitive sport completing his degree in Physical Education specializing in Physical Activity & Sports performance.

Recently Greg has shifted his focus to the instruction and development of athletes. Currently, Greg is a partner with Competitive Thread Ltd, a sporting company focused primarily on athlete testing and development. Along with sport testing, Competitive Thread also delivers summer and fall developmental hockey camps, where Greg plays a pivotal role as an organizer and lead on-ice instructor.

Along with a strong enthusiasm and dedication to hockey, Greg is also a passionate golfer and makes sure to find time to hit the links when he is not busy teaching on the ice. Greg is excited to bring his knowledge, experience and energy to Donnan and Vimy Hockey.
